Welcome to Conor on Cars. You may be thinking “Oh, joy. Another car blog.” I know I’ve thought that before, so with this blog, I’m going to try to bring an offbeat (and sometimes humorous) look at the worldwide auto industry. I’ll cover every brand from Acura to Zimmer, and anything car related, including branded mercahndise, such as cell phones and laptops. Also, I’ll occasionally post up spots from my travels. The Chicago Auto Show, which I will be attending, will officially start my industry coverage, but expect a few posts before then.

Yo!
I am so impressed that finally someone is going to cover the auto industry with a sense of humor and Chicago style.
I like the write-up on the Roadster. Why’d they pick Chicago as the US debut? Isn’t Detroit the big show town?
Looking forward to following your column, dude.
If you don’t hear from me I’ll be drivin’ in my car.

Thanks for the support! The YES! Roadster is an offbeat car, and might be overshadowed by the major debuts in Detroit, making Chicago a venue where it will get lots more coverage from the press.
